BP Georgia - CSR Manager
Rusudan Medzmariashvili is the Social Responsibility Manager at BP Georgia since 2008. She is responsible for managing BP Georgia’s Social Responsibility Agenda with the aim of adding value to BP’s business and reputation in Georgia by maintaining positive relationship with diverse group of stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted pipeline operations compliant with BP Code of Conduct and other internal and external standards.
American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia - Executive Director
Dr George Welton has been the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce since 2015, where he is responsible for general management, oversight of projects and coordination of AmCham’s extensive public policy activities.
George also runs GeoWel Research, which he founded in 2009. His company conducts research and analysis for international organisations including USAID, the EU, ADB, KfW, GIZ, UNDP, DfID, CARE International, Mercy Corps, Oxfam and many others.
He has worked as an academic and researcher in Georgia since 2004 and has a PhD in International Relations from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Global Compact Network Georgia - Executive Director
Salome Zurabishvili founded and has been heading the Local Network of the UN Global Compact initiative in Georgia since February 2016. She also serves as the Chair for the Regional Network Council for Eastern Europe and as a Member of the Global Network Council at the United Nations Global Compact.
Director of Corporate Communications GPI Holding
Tinatin Stambolishvili is strategic communications and marketing specialist with 15 years of experience of working at international and local companies. She is an associate professor at Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) and an invited lecturer at the Ilia State University. She teaches public relations, marketing and corporate social responsibility. She is a graduate of Ericson International Program of Art and Science of coaching (ICF Accredited).
At present Tinatin is a Director of Corporate Communications at GPI Holding, Georgia’s leading insurance companies, member of Vienna Insurance Group. Her main role is to oversee development and implementation of social responsibility policy in the company and integration of group-wide (Vienna Insurance Group) CSR standards and principles. GPI Holding has been internationally and locally acknowledged for its CSR projects, namely in employment programs, labor rights, community support and etc.
Gepra - Executive Director
Ekaterine Zhvania was appointed CEO to GEPRA in April 2013.
Ekaterine graduated from the Faculty of Tbilisi State University Commerce – Marketing Department, specializing in tourism Commercial – marketing. She has attended PR school in the integrated marketing communications and Government 2.0, as well as training in management, general communication and negotiation skills in production, time management, marketing and more.
She worked in public and private organizations on a variety of positions: Consultant, Procurement Manager, Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, etc.
2009-2013 she was head of the marketing and innovations service at “Service Agency of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.”
Many interesting and successful projects have been carried out under her leadership, such as the state property online auctions system “www.eauction.ge” and the company’s management system “ERP”.
MFO Crystal - Head of the Environmental and Social (E&S) Division
Maya Kobalia is the Head of the Environmental and Social (E&S) Division in the biggest Georgian financial inclusion organization – internationally funded – MFO Crystal.
Prior to joining Crystal, Maya served as the Executive Director of the Georgia Alliance for Safe Roads. She has studied Masters Studies at the University of Tartu (Estonia) and the Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany). She holds BA degree (with Honors) in International Relations from Ilia State University (Georgia). Her studies and career interests have also taken her to the University of Lodz, Poznan University of Adam Mickiewicz, Krakow Jagiellonian University, to India, Zambia, the U.S., etc.
She was a mentee in the Vital Voices chapter of Poland’s Leadership and Mentoring Program for Women Leaders. She is also the Open World Leadership Program Alumna (Atlanta. Georgia | USA).
Her interests include foreign languages (She speaks 5 languages: native Georgian, English, Polish, Russian and Estonian), women economic empowerment, inspirational-motivational speeches, environmental, youth-related and social activities with positive/tangible results, as well as music (Maya is playing piano and a guitar), yoga, mindfulness practices, walking and horseback riding.
She is the UN Global Compact Young SDG Pioneer Georgia’s local Winner of 2019.
Orient Logic - General Director of Orient Logic; GCNG Board Chairman
Levan Akhvlediani has been appointed as a Chair of the GCNG Board in 2020.
Levan Akhvlediani has many years of experience in managing both international and local organizations. For many years he led leading organizations in various industries. Levan is a graduate student at Caucasus Business School and also a Certified Master in Project Management at George Washington University School of Business.
Currently, Levan Akhvlediani is the General Director of the leading technology company “Orient Logic.”
